Overview

EventGeek syncs with Outlook Calendar at every level of your event portfolio. You can put the following on any Outlook Calendar:

  • An event
  • A task
  • A schedule (including travel)
  • All events in a team
  • All tasks for an event
  • All tasks for all events in a team

Note: events, tasks and schedules require start dates or due dates to appear in Outlook Calendar.

Note: calendar integrations is conditional to teammate Roles. So if your teammate is not able to see an event, task or schedule in EventGeek, they will not be able to add it to Outlook Calendar either.

The Share Button

To access the Outlook Calendar sync, look for the Share button icon in the appropriate view (team, event, task or schedule) and select the Add to calendar option.

Import iCal Items

On Outlook desktop, select File > Import and following the instructions for importing .ics files.

Once imported, you can add any teammates as Attendees to the Outlook Calendar event and they will have this event, task or schedule on their Outlook Calendar.

The event on their Outlook Calendar will contain all the relevant details, from the event, task or schedule, including the location, description, event links, etc.
